1987 Mercedes 560 SEC coupe - Auto - V8 rebuilt - Good tires - Insp OK for sale in West Long Branch, New Jersey

This is a charcoal grey (199 code) 560 Merc coupe, the last of the hand built Mercs, and the flagship of its day.
A diamond in the rough but a strong mechanic owned car. No structure rust and only a couple minor surface areas, a few dings but never had a real accident. I rebuilt the top end; head gaskets, valve job, etc. (170 K on car but the cyl's had no ridge) , and replaced trans with one from a 420 sedan that works well. Almost all electrics work (all windows ok, sunroof ok) and the interior is fair with surface flaws in seats, not major.
Custom Remus exhaust, with cats, sounds throaty. Windows have a mild blue tint that can be easily removed. Old timey cell phone and radar detector accompany the Alpine cassette player, amp in the trunk not hooked up. Tires match side to side, differ front to back, all good cond.
The AC is not hooked up and unknown cond, but as I work at a german shop I'll help get this if you want, also cruise control not connected but all neccesary parts there, no reason to think either system will work.
This car is a blast to drive and anyone with a soul will fall in love with it like I have, however I need to move on to the next project (an MGA) and need to cash out of this one. Believe me, I don't want to part with this cruiser...
